One of those moments that seems to just transcend the narrative form; a look that under most circumstances would be a flirting glance, but one that transforms into something so much deeper in complexity.  In other words, a six-hour film boiled down into one angle, one stare.  No reaction shots necessary, just a marriage of image and sound that conveys the very promise of cinema.  Enjoy. (Apologies for the poor quality, it really deserves better.)
